Based in Jakarta and reporting to the General Manager for Asia Pacific, you will be responsible for the sales activities with all clients in the assigned territory.

You will be responsible for achieving targeted revenue and profitability, measured against the agreed business plan, by identifying, developing and delivering sales from key target clients and projects.

Furthermore your role will involve developing sales opportunities, through the promotion of the company's differentiating technologies, with the aim of establishing long-term business relationships existing and new clients.

- Degree or higher in Chemical Engineering

- Oil and Gas Experience

- Tender Review

- Understanding of Quality Assurance

- Computer Skills

- Communication Skills

- Confident, self-starter

- Team player with ability to work on own initiative

(Desirables include a degree in Sales & Marketing and T&Cs experience)

  • 1. Initiate a sales process with potential new clients
  • 2. Develop sales and budget plans for the territory
  • 3. Produce monthly revenue and forecasting reports
  • 4. Lead the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals
  • 5. Feedback the status of proposals and the project timelines
  • 6. Managing agents/distributors in the designated territory
  • 7. Work closely with the local agent/distributor to develop sales strategies
  • 8. Negotiate contracts on behalf of the Company
  • 9. Drive the development of client relationships through business and social interaction
  • 10. Attend exhibitions and industry forums as required in pursuit of new business
  • 11. Assist with operational requirements with any local fabricators
  • 12. Ensure personal compliance with all HSE legislation and HSE Company policy
  • 13. Be fully familiar and fully conversant with all department and company policies, procedures and processes, ensuring all work and actions undertaken are in full compliance at all times.
  • 14. Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager
