Our client, one of the world’s largest multinational Financial Institutions, have asked me to recruit an experienced Windows Server Engineer to work in their Tralee based IT centre of operations
You will be responsible for the support and maintenance of Windows Servers and Voice & Data networks supporting the business within the Americas and EMEA regions
Previous enterprise experience highly desirable for this role
Experience and skills
- Previous Wintel project experience including infrastructure implementation and deployment
- Good understanding of Windows infrastructures (including 2003 & 2008)
- Established experience in enterprise Citrix/XenApp infrastructure
- Experience of managing virtualised infrastructure
- Microsoft: Windows Administration, Active Directory
- Citrix: XenApp 5/6, PVS, AppSense 7/8
- Programming languages: Korn shell, Java, XML,
- Symantec Netbackup 6.5/7
- CISCO: UCS Blade Chassis and FI
- VMWARE: ESXi, vCenter, Update Manager, vMotion, DRS, Distributed Switches
- Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Storage: SAN technologies, Fibre-channel, iSCSI, WWN
