The software provides risk analysis and valuation of large complex portfolios and is an industry leading product.A VBA Excel Developer is required by a top-tier Investment Bank undergoing a massive migration project across all Banking Divisions. They require a VBA Excel Developer with strong experience in developing financial models to take a senior role and be responsible for developing these changes in line with Financial Regulations.
This is a reputable Investment Bank offering a 6-month contract for £500 per day in picturesque offices in Edinburgh. You would gain a lot of financial knowledge and be exposed to the business, making a real impact on the project.
Our client is looking for a VBA Excel developer with a good understanding of process in both development and the business. This role offers excellent experience that can be advantageous in the long-term.
My client is looking for the following skills, knowledge and experience:
- Strong commercial experience and understanding of Visual Basic with Excel (2003 & 2007) and Access (2003)
- Commercial experience in developing financial models and experience in the finance sector.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest financial modeling techniques and good product knowledge.
- Experience of developing processes for ALM/Liquidity systems.
This VBA Excel Developer role is based in their Edinburgh offices. Our client is looking for ideally experienced contract candidates at a day rate of around £500. The office and team environment is exciting and professional based in the heart of Edinburgh.
