This large, recently modernised Primary School are looking for a top Graduate, with a 2.1 or higher degree based around English, Maths or Science to take on a full time, long term contract Teaching Assistant role starting as soon as possible for the remainder of the academic (August 2013).

The school has previously utilised Graduates keen to gain experience prior to commencing their PGCE with great effect, benefiting both the school and ultimately the candidate's career development.

The successful Teaching Assistant will be supporting across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. In your role as a Teaching Assistant will find yourself working across the Key Stages during the course of the week, providing support to class teachers, predominantly working with low ability pupils in the fields of numeracy and literacy, on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.

You will be joining a dedicated and well established team. My client provides a warm and friendly atmosphere within which their pupils thrive, and staff are given excellent support by the Senior Management Team.

In 2011 the schools was deemed as 'Good' by Ofsted, with particular attention being paid to the Headteacher for hard work and supporting the school progress from 'Special Measures' to 'Good' in 3 years.

As the successful Teaching Assistant, you will be provided with a personal development plan and the school take a keen interest in supporting and helping all of their members of staff develop and achieve their goals, be they permanent or contract members of staff.

The school is a short walk away from many public transport links such as bus stops and train stations, but will offer on site parking facilities for the successful Teaching Assistant.
