Software Developer
Our client based in Dublin is currently seeking .NET Developers for contract positions. You will be responsible for acting as software developer for complex programs in design, developing and analysing software products; proposing new ideas and products and guiding their implementation and providing technical direction in area of specialty on major products.
Responsibilities will include:
- Participates as a member of development team or teams
- Performs analysis of functional and business requirements.
- Prepares code stubs for others.
- Completes code to implement solutions.
- Contributes to design activities; may design solutions.
- Codes independently; participates in code reviews and may lead code reviews.
- Designs, prepares and executes Unit tests.
- Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to maintain one or more technology areas
- Independently implements end-user or enterprise infrastructure of moderate complexity or services prepared by more senior technologist for more complex solutions.
Skills required:
- 6 plus years work related experience required.
- Demonstrated technical expertise required.
- Strong communication skills required.
- Advanced knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, C/C++, SQL Server 2008, Win 32 API, MFC, COM.
- Experience across multiple tiers of development
- Ability to define specifications and develop and implement features.
- Third Level degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field required.
