Description
Overall Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Managing Director to build and validate a financial model for a New Business Strategy for the existing business. Budgeting and forecasting profit margins for the new business model. Working on a new business transition plan to incorporate new products and services. Responsible for the financial strategy in a customer focused business.
Duties:
o Develop a financial strategy for profitable business growth working directly with the Managing Director.
o Analyse existing financial accounts to identify opportunities and areas to be addressed as part of new business strategy.
o Challenge existing team on assumptions and methods for pricing, chargeability and opportunity assessment.
o Work with the Sales Director validating new business lines of opportunity, including margin and risk analysis of same.
o Prepare in-depth market/company analysis to support development of new business lines across the business.
o Pricing and margin analysis and recommendations for new and existing products and services, including commission structures for partners and sales team.
o Complete financial analysis and models (including forecasts and budgets) for new business strategy.
Experience/Qualification
o ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with minimum 10 year's experience.
o Experience working in the Software Industry essential.
o Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
o Ability to produce reports in a concise and condensed format for review at board level.
o Experience of working in a start-up environment or an organisation where decisions are made very quickly.
