Job Role
The Web Officer will be responsible for the development of websites using the clients content management system.
Duties
- Migrate static websites to an enterprise web content management system
- Plan & develop site structutres, using social media
- Use prebuilt dynamic elements to enhance user experience ( developed using PHP and Jquery )
Essential Knowledge
- Understanding of web production software, writing for the web, web design, SEO
- Publishing including : XTHML, HTML5, CSS, Javascript, XML, XSL, Ajax
- Experience of managing content including copyright and data protection
- Experience of writing copy and proof reading ; writing for a range of different media
- Experience of working in a journalistic role
- Experience of cross platform testing
- Some exposure of web Scripting with PHP
