Description
1st line support, 2nd line support, system support, Imaging, Mac OS X, M/S Windows 7, Linux, M/S office, Anti Virus, Networking, TCP/IPMy client is looking for a System Support - 1st - 2nd line support in Dublin.
Contract Length: minimum until 31 Dec 2013 but likely to be renewed
Start date: 1-March-2013
Hours: 37,5 per week
Technical and skill requirements:
o Imaging of Desktops and Laptops
o Ability to support - Mac OS X, M/S Windows 7 and Linux
o Good awareness of Linux/Mac OS X
o M/S office
o Anti Virus software support and awareness
o Networking skills and TCP/IP awareness and understanding
o Resolve assigned Incidents, problems, and service requests
o Perform timely delivery of service per the processes outlined in the Statement of Work
o Resolve the problem by using a systematic troubleshooting approach and appropriate technical documentation, diagnostic, and maintenance procedures
Essential experience/Qualifications:
o Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent
o Good organisational skills
o Ability to work well on their own
Desired:
o Linux experience/certification
o ITIL awareness
o MCP's (MCSE/MCSA)
o ACSP
Eligibility Requirements:
o Ability to work in EU (Ireland)
Any experience in the following roles is also advantageous:
Desk Side Support, Roll out Engineer, 2nd Level support, System Administrator
