VB.Net / Contract / Farnborough / £280-£320pdMy Client a top insurance company based in London are looking for an experience VB.Net developer with good ASP.Net skills.
The role will entail Developing innovative secure high quality solutions under the guidance of Senior Analyst Programmers. While implementing changes for all their clients as agreed, ensuring all work is recorded using the relevant tools and procedures. You will take a proactive role to resolve support items as part of a team and make sure to communicate technical subjects to a level that takes into account target audience knowledge and understanding of the subject matter.
You will be required to identify and suggest improvements to working practices to increase efficiency and team performance and prioritise the workload in line with business requirements escalating conflicts where appropriate.
They are expanding their development team and are looking take on highly skilled
ASP.Net developers with the following experience:
- VB /VB.NET
- ASP.NET using VB.Net
- SQL Server 2005 / TSQL
- Visual Studio
- Evidence of Client Server Technology and n-Tier development
- Evidence of good knowledge of software development lifecycle, release cycle and OO Design.
- HTML, CSS
- Ajax
- JQuery/JavaScript
- Object Oriented Design
The role is based in Farnborough. The client is looking for a mixture of contract candidates on a day rate of £280-£320.
