Hampshire based Finance client is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager with experience of managing multiple infrastructure projects as part of a new office set up and modernisation programme.This is an initial 3-6 month contract for a 12 month project paying £300-£350/day in view of starting Immediately.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to be part of a management team at an exciting stage of its development where technology is of key importance to the business; having just recently invested heavily in its people, hardware and software.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Experience of setting up a new Data Centre / Disaster Recovery site
- Experience of project managing office re-fits/ setting up of new sites
- Knowledge of site to site networking and MPLS
- Management of exchange server migrations
- Management of window migrations
- You must be a confident individual and have proven experience of challenging teams and vendors
in drawing constructive solutions
- You will have the ability to prioritise workload, as well as work with a sense of urgency in meeting
deadlines to agreed standards
- You will be able to develop and maintain project plans, budgets and project reports whilst defining
the scope, time-lines and technical resources required to deliver projects.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience of working in the Finance Industry
