*6 Month Contract*
Prestigious Enterprise Company is in need of a Cisco Routing and Switching Engineer for a 6 month contract with the possibility of it being a contract to hire. Technologies include CISCO, LAN, WAN, OSPF, BGP,. Any VMware, Windows or Linux is a big plus. I would prefer a candidate with as much routing & switching experience as possible. Also as much of the technology listed below as possible.
Cisco Routing & Switching Engineer
- LAN troubleshooting, remediation, best practice, security, QoS
- WAN troubleshooting, remediation, best practice, security, QoS,
- Cisco 3750, 3900, 2900 deployment, troubleshooting, configuration. SNMP monitoring solutions.
- Wireless - Cisco 5500 controllers, 1142 WAP, troubleshooting, deployment
- VOiP QoS engineering, CUCM cluster, understanding of call routing logic, dial plans, dial peers, route patterns, partitions, calling search spaces, IVR and call handler uses in Unity
- Firewalls - Cisco ASA, IOS acl's, Firewall architecture/DMZ's
- SAN - understanding of disk arrays, Cisco UCS, IP attached storage,
- 10gig infrastructure, Nexus 5548, 2248, 1000v
Network/Wireless Engineer
- Cisco wireless 5500 series controllers, radius authentication/accounting, certificate based authentication
- OSPF, WAP firmware upgrades, WPA/WPA2 security, wireless security architecture - guest/administrative/user levels.
- Cisco security - understanding, design, planning, implementation of IOS acls, VLAN port security
- OSPF - configure summarization, areas, route filters, troubleshoot & remediate configurations
- BGP - configure summarization, understanding of Pub/Priv ASN's, prefix-lists, path selection, troubleshoot & remediate configurations
- VOiP QoS engineering - LAN & WAN. Understanding of DSCP, forwarding levels, traffic classification
- LAN QoS, troubleshooting, remediation, best practice, security
- WAN QoS, troubleshooting, remediation, best practice, security
- Install and troubleshoot PRI, understanding of MPLS
- CUCM cluster, understanding of call routing logic, dial plans, route patterns, partitions, calling search spaces, IVR and call handler uses in Unity
