Description of Work

From the legacy Solid Works models provided, the Sr. Mechanical Engineer is tasked to:

1) Develop finite element models (mesh) of the assembly, and perform stress and thermal analysis on the assembled unit using the Solid Works Simulation Express analysis package.

2) Re-design the housings to minimize the said stresses and deflections.

3) Re-design the housings to improve the ultrasonic weld seam

4) Re-design housing for longer term implementation effort to improve the radiographic sensor housings to meet customer specifications as well as meeting demands for increased reliability, cost reduction and ease of manufacturability.

Must have Ultrasonic Welding experience*
