FIX Support - NYC

A successful global investment bank, downtown NYC, is currently looking for a FIX Level 1/Level 2 (first and second line support) analyst to join one of their technical teams. The "run the bank" team is responsible for supporting real time, electronic trading group. The candidate will be working in a high pressured environment across geographical boundaries and multiple teams to resolve issues, using incident and problem management processes where applicable. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with the business and gaining a good understanding of their processes.

Useful technical skills required for this role include FIX protocol (Financial information exchange), Linux/Unix, SQL, Exchange connectivity networks (ECNs), Exchange connectivity, support experience, scripting, some development language exposure or use, project management skills, ITIL, investment banking/ trading experience (credit, rates, FX etc), front office experience.
