System Qualification Consultant ( Manufacturing Experience/Knowledge on Lean Manufacturing )

Introduction

The sector Twinscan Factory is responsible for the production of lithographic (XT & NXT) systems. The Production Engineering department within this sector maintains and optimizes the production and installation processes in order to realize Cycle Time reduction.

Job Mission

Maintain and improve the work preparation for Volume Products and effectively and efficiently manage Cycle Time reduction on production process (B7), tooling (B4) and design (B8; in co-operation with D&E).

Job Description

Maintain the work preparation (process comments, implement Sustaining EC's in the factory). Align with the Factory on Cycle Time targets and actions. Contribute to agreed Cycle Time targets; eg reduce DN-rate in Test, solve structural technical issues together with D&E, improve production process. Actively represent the Twinscan Factory in the D&E Sustaining program. Ensure availability of tooling (incl reticles and toolwafers) to support the production process. Ensure adequate reporting, based on an agreed way of working. Ensure a smooth transfer of new products from IE-ME to TF-PS-PE; check timing, availability and quality of ME deliverables and take over ownership for maintenance after signing of 6p=P sheets. Skill and career development of group members Identify and build-up required competences of the group members.

Education

HBO+/WO technology and business processes.

Experience

- 5 to 10 years of relevant working experience w.r.t. manufacturing processes in a high tech, low volume environment. - Knowledge on Lean Manufacturing, Flow. - Proven project management skills.

- Strong personality, pragmatic, flexible and persistent. - Excellent communication skills. - Entrepreneurial

Context of the position

The holder of this position reports to the Production Engineering Manager. The Production Engineering Group Leader leads a team of 10-20 Production Engineers and maintains a close relationship with Manufacturing. The Production Engineering GL interfaces with D&E-Product Development Manager/Cluster Managers, IE Program Management and IE ME organization.
