Roles & Responsibilities (in detail)

Process Assurance

  • Assist Programmes/Projects in creation and review of the Quality management plans
  • Provide inputs to programmes/projects in creation of the process assurance plan
  • Verify adherence to applicable standards, processes and procedures as defined in the process assurance plan
  • Verifying that all relevant checks, inspections and tests have been conducted prior to project deliverables
  • Identifying, reporting and tracking any projects non-conformances to agreed standards, plans and procedures
  • Conducting process assurance checks on projects as per the defined standards, identifying non-conformances, assigning corrective actions and tracking them to closure
  • Ongoing identification, reporting and tracking of any process related corrective/preventive actions required by the Projects
  • Support continuous quality improvement on the Projects
  • Alignment of Quality Plans to achieve process compliance
  • Facilitation of root cause analysis for the identified non-conformances and assisting in implementation of preventive measures
  • Coordinate external reviews of organization-level procedures
  • Escalate process and project non-compliances and non-adherences as per defined escalation norms
  • Conduct CMMI readiness reviews

Quality Assurance/Improvements

  • Take part in review of critical work products
  • Review governance documents like PRID/PID/PMP/Programme Brief/Project Brief and provide inputs for governance approval
  • Review the planning documents like PMP, CMP, RMP, QMP
  • Identification of weak process areas and recommending process improvements
  • Review of all the process improvement proposals and suggesting/selecting and implementing the critical and value added proposals
  • Review of project exception report and plans prior to submission for governance approval
  • Review status reports to track consistency of reporting
  • Collect analyze and report on measurements/metrics data from projects/programmes
  • Conduct milestone reviews on projects/programmes as defined in the quality management plans
  • Maintain the quality log for the programme/project
