SAP FI Consultant - English Speaking - Olen, Belgium.
My client in Olen, Belgium is looking for an SAP Financials Consultant.
Required skills:
1. Strong financial background and a good functional understanding of procurement, stock transfer, sales and invoicing processes within the context of a European distribution network and the integration of these processes with finance and controlling.
2. Senior project consultant with recent experience on full-cycle projects in the role of finance lead focusing on project milestones. Ability to plan workload independently, work pro-actively towards project deliverables and to report progress weekly.
3. Ability to take ownership of all project activities from requirements gathering and validation, functional design, hands-on configuration, testing and documentation.
4. Experience with IDOC interfaces, more specifically the inbound IDOC for processing incoming invoices (INVOIC). Ability to analyze underlying function modules and user exits and coordinate changes with the development team.
5. Good understanding of VAT code determination for outgoing invoices and integration to finance. Notions of VAT legislation in a European context are desired.
Job description:
1. During the further roll-out of the new European Distribution Network, the consultant will be responsible for a specific roll-out wave and work with the finance key users to ensure correct integration between logistic and finance processes.
2. Organize meetings with finance in the roll-out countries to validate requirements, explain the functional design and work towards approval of project documentation.
3. Implement system changes and coordinate developments with the offshore development team. Perform and document unit testing in Quality Center (HP).
4. Prepare and perform integration testing in a quality environment and document the test results in Quality Center. Assist key users during user acceptance testing.
5. Accountable for correct logging of transport requests and cut-over activities
6. Delivering user support after deployment of the template to the roll-out countries.
English Speaking Assignment. Start: 4th March Month+ Contract.
