Description
I am currently looking for an experienced Windows Service Consultant on a 12 month extendable contract for a market leading client of mine in Durban, South Africa.
Duties
- Maintain and administer Microsoft Windows Systems and Server(Microsoft Server, AD, Exchange, SCOM & SCCM)
- Maintain Active Directory toolset, ADMT, Group Policy Management, DNS, DHCP, Account and file Security, Storage technologies etc.
- Maintain Physical and Virtual Microsoft Servers
- Ensure Disaster Recovery Plan, testing, implementation and documentation
- Work within cross-functional projects
- Maintain capacity planning for the windows environment
- Maintain Exchange environment
- Provide end user training as needed
- Create, maintain and update documentation as reacquired
- Maintain and manage permission on file and print Servers
- Ensure system monitoring and availability, perform ongoing maintenance of windows environment
- Create, test and deploy applications as per business requirement
- Ensure compliance to ICT standard
