Description
Senior Tester OTTOur client in the Benelux region is looking for a senior tester for a long term contract. The Senior Tester is needed to test a new OTT service which will deliver Video playback on connected devices such as Web, Smart TV's, mobile devises and game stations.
The successful candidate will need to have Tester experience in related industry IPTV & VOD
The essential skills for these positions are:
- Proficient in Automation Testing using Selenium with Javascript
- Manual Testing experience
- Strong Functional Testing experience
- IPTV, Technical Senior Tester, Embedded Video, STB, Video Playback testing experience
- Candidate MUST have experience of testing OTT/IPTV/VoD/EST platform and mobile applications
- Experience in writing test plans, test scripts (Both system & E2E), defining test data and leading UAT sessions.
- Testing User Stories as part of an agile methodology
- Comfortable designing test environments and strategies.
- Managing Test environments, test devices, OS versions required for regression testing
- Enterprise Tester, JIRA - Defect Management and reporting
- Full Test Life Cycle Experience of IPTV/VoD platform, mobile applications on iOS, Android and Smart TV
- Must have IPTV/VoD platform testing experience.
- Must have experience working in Agile and Scrum and experience of BDD,TDD
- Good to have Selenium, Frank with Cucumber & web technologies experience
- ISEB OR ISTQB preferable
- Manage Test analyst and mentor them.
- Experience in technical functional testing of devices such as; Acquisition & Presentation of AV media via IP & OTT, Software Management, Encoding, Content Discovery.
- Experience in a Scripting language such as Selenium, Javacript, Python, Ruby or Perl
- Familiar with network protocol analysis tools such as Wireshark analysis and server configuration, bandwidth throttling
- The ability to speak French/Dutch is an advantage
