Network Architect required for a leading Financial Services organisation based in London.

The role is to provide Senior Level network technical solution design and support - Network Strategy,Design, Transition, Operation, Continual System Improvements and maintain competence.

Key responsibilities

*Provide support for budgeting and procurement of network projects
*Provide timely status reports regarding network projects and activities
*Manage in-scope networks and systems in accordance with the formal change management procedures and processes
*Manage and leadership oversight and hands on support of network technologies, including routers, firewalls, switches, WAN technologies
*Ensure network infrastructure processes, procedures and technology support the protection of electronic assets from unauthorized access
*Provide architectural network analysis and design reviews
*To maintain your own competence and personal development

Skills and knowledge

*Expert-level understanding of network architecture, solutions, and technologies, such as F5, Force10, Cisco and Brocade.
*Expertise with a breadth of network technologies, including routers, firewalls, WAN technologies, etc.
*Ability to maintain current working knowledge of related hardware, software, solutions, and processes.
*Extensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting networks in enterprise-level organizations.
*Experience participating in large, complex projects.

This is a great opportunity to work with a growing Financial Services organisation based in London.

This is a 6 month contract based in London paying between £500-£600 per day.
