This large Secondary School located in Birmingham are looking for a 1st or 2.1 Class Degree Maths Graduate, for the role of a Teaching Assistant to support the their Maths Department. The school is located near several bus stops, of which the buses go in several directions regularly. Onsite car parking will be provided for the successful Teaching Assistant, should you drive.

The role will be focussing on supporting students as they prepare for GCSE's and ensuring that they attain minimum standards in the end of year exams. In your role as the successful Teaching Assistant, you will be working on a 1:1 basis and with small groups of pupils who require extra support to attain accepted levels. As a Teaching Assistant you will also be working across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5, whilst reporting back to the Head of Maths, who will be supportive and provide you with training and guidance so you flourish in your role as a Teaching Assistant, giving you an excellent stepping stone in your future career.

The school received an Ofsted grade of 'Good with outstanding features' in 2012, with particular attention being given to the excellent Headteacher and Senior Management Team for their support and dedication. The Headteacher has a clear vision and ambition for the school to keep developing and establishing itself as a centre of excellence but also the best education they can for the students to excel. The exam results last year within the Maths Department were at 81% A*-C GCSE.
