SQL Business Intelligence developer is required by my client within the investment banking space based in the heart ofLondon. As the SQL BI Developer you will be working within a small niche team whose main focus is fixed income, they have been given the task of developing a new data warehouse to provide unique reports to the rest of the business.The reason that this niche SQL team is looking to expand is due to the investment in this area from the business which is down to the approach they take on being able to deliver cutting edge technologies to different business areas for their demanding client base rapidly. The role needs a strong developer who has the ability to develop SSAS cubes and being able to develop unique dashboards and integrate them with SQL.
As the SQL BI developer this role will require you to build out the new database system as well as liaise with different areas of the business on a daily basis.
This is a 6 month rolling contract at rates around £550+pd
Essential Skills
- Investment Banking Knowledge is an Essential Skill for this role
- Strong SQL Server data warehousing experience
- Strong Business Intelligence knowledge especially within SSAS MDX
- SQL 2008
- Proven experience in SSRS is essential.
- Qlikview is a big advantage
