SENIOR ELECTRONICS ENGINEER40 - 45k NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.

My Cambridgeshire based client is currently looking to recruit a senior electronics engineer to join their growing business. The role is a mixture of hardware and software design and debugging, as well as elements of project management. It also offers opportunities for FPGA-based development, feeding into new IC designs, and for customer interaction.
You will be responsible in providing technological leadership and guidance within their engineering team. You will be able to develop and customize embedded-system firmware and HDL designs. Other tasks will include ensuring high design quality, making sure that the designs can be manufactured repeatedly, are reliable and will perform consistently across a range of operating environments.
You will have skills in the following:-
- Knowledge of Analog and digital design inlcluding audio and signal processing
- Embedded Microcontrollers
- Interchip communications protocols
- Debugging
- C programming
- Fpgas/verilog
- 5 years experience of circuit design, PCB layout and project management
- A degree in electronics or similar
