Description
The successful candidate will have had experience in IT operations or working with IT systems. Primary responsibilities are to gather the required data, via site visits, from all client UK sites to enable detailed migration planning & the migrations to proceed.
We are happy to receive applications of candidates who have 6-12 months IT experience that are willing to travel and have a full UK driving License.
Duties involve:
Working as part of a team within the Implementation Workstream your duties will include the following:
* To contact site leads & book site visits.
* Conduct UK site survey visits according to migration schedule requirements.
* Complete offline site survey databases with site lead present & submit to project office.
* Discuss & resolve site level challenges & follow up with sites to closeout any gaps in data capture.
* Work with USR database team & liaise with supplier migration teams for queries regarding sites
* Weekly status updates by the Surveyor to the Surveyors Team Lead
* Weekly schedule of confirmed upcoming site visits to be shared via Notes/Outlook calendar with team lead & project team.
* Issues to be documented per site & consolidated into a Site Survey Team RAID log
* Initial escalation point is to Surveyors Team Leader
* Next level of escalation point is to the User Migration Manager
* To be able to hit targets with a sense of urgency without compromising quality
Your skills:
* Good communication skills
* Excellent PC-based skills (MS Office) - critical to have exposure to MSOffice & Access
* Good organisation skills
* Self starter who uses initiative
* Interpersonal telephone skills
Experience
* Experience of working on user migration projects
* Confident with site visits & customer facing activities
* Experience of working within large teams
Other requirements
* Driving licence
* Willingness to travel & stay away, as schedule requires
* Comfortable with working against best practise and adherence to audit requirements
