IntroductionDevelopment & Engineering: The department D&E Applications develops, integrates and qualifies functional modules and application packages in the area of water metrology (critical dimension and overlay) and wafer fab applications (performance control applications). All development activities need to be conducted with the constraints of specification, time and budget as demanded by market conditions.
Job Mission
There are several mission statements for this job.
Configuration management for both YieldStar and Wafer fab applications.
o Modular releasing strategy and implementation
o Branching strategy, how to reduce the workload for syncs
Create processes to improve the efficiency for development and STI (=System Test & Integration) w.r.t. integration.
Integrate the deliveries of the development teams in software releases and act as support desk for build and integration issues in the projects.
Job Description
The job consists of following activities:
Define and realize the configuration environment for WFA
Integrate software deliveries to the release domain
Support the development teams with integration issues and build management tooling questions
Define and implement software integration efficiency improvements (tools & processes)
Education
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, business informatics or comparable.
Proven background in software configuration management.
Affinity with development of software tools.
Experience
5 - 10 years of relevant workexperience
The candidate has experience with configuration management, build and integration management. The candidate has sufficient seniority to know what is required both on hardware and software to realize a smooth running environment for these tasks and able to communicate the requirements to the IT department.
Hands on experience with ClearCase is a must, experience on Jenkins and Maven is a pre.
Personal skills
The candidate is flexible, result driven, has a make it happen attitude, is a good communicator and a self starter. It is a must that the candidate has worked as build manager/integrator in the past.
Comprehension of both the business- and te process components of a task.
Candidate should not only utilize a hands-on approach, but should also be able to adopt a helicopter view.
Context of the position
The holder of this position reports to SW group lead, interacts with the project lead and operates within multi disciplinary development teams.
