Description
We are looking for an individual with experience in designing and implementing network probe technologies for both circuit switched and packet switched networks.
Client has deployed 2G, 3G and 4G (LTE) networking technologies.
The probe solution will collect event records from the both the RAN and core networks and send the data to a CEM system, which will use it to provide insights into customer behavior and experience.
We are looking for an expert to
- Provide technical leadership in the probe domain,
- Work with the capacity planning team to understand capacity needs,
- Evaluate probe vendor capabilities and technologies,
- Evaluate technical solutions provided by probe vendors
Ideally, the candidate:
- Has worked with probe technologies in the past, either on the operator or vendor side (Anritsu experience preferred but not mandatory).
- Understands network topologies and network protocols
- Understands the data that can be collected from those protocols
- Understands the KPIs/KQIs that can be derived from that data and as well as the KPIs/KQIs that drive CEM systems
- Is familiar with applicable standards such as 3GPP and LTE
