Client is looking for Solution Architect.
Vertical Focus:
Financial Services - Banking
Responsibilities:
Provide thought leadership recommendations in various technology areas - Analytics & Information Management especially Netezza, Datastage, Oracle etc
Strong understanding of Sales & Marketing domain desirable.
Provide technical & architecture guidance, on Netezza, Datastage to customers
Collaborate closely with the Account and other practice teams to develop proposal, presentations, statement of work (SOW).
Prior exposure to project estimations and scheduling
Should be able to execute project as the project plan, map solutions to client business processes, and details out various risks in project execution.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will have an overall 8- 10 years of work experience with at least 5 years in Technical Consulting in the area of Analytics & Information Management -namely Netezza, Datastage
Solution architecture, Solution Delivery: 5+ Years
Good Understanding & Hand -on exposure to Netezza, Datastage, Oracle, DB2 etc.
Prior implementation experience in the area of Information Management (Data wareshouse, data quality, data appliances, data integration) using Netezza, Datastage is mandatory
Experience in the Financial services industry is a must; experience in Banking will be a clear advantage
Prior experience with a Global Delivery Model based IT Services Company will be an added advantage.
Prior experience in one of more of the following areas will be an added advantage:
o Integration Projects
o Finance Transformation project execution
Other Skills
Excellent Communication, Customer Interaction and Presentation Skills are mandatory
Should be comfortable interacting with Sr. IT team within the Customer space
Education
Master of Science (preferably in Computer and Information Sciences or Business Information Technology) or an Engineering degree in the above areas. Master's in business administration (MBA)/Finance Transformation projects will be a clear advantage
Travel
Travel around Europe only.
