Position: Quality Assurance Engineer
Rate: £20-£22
Location: South East
Duration: 3 Month Contract
Background:
A world leading manufacturing supplier to the Aerospace industry based in the south east region is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join them on a contract basis.
The Role
Due to recent growth in the world markets, a world leading organisation within the aerospace industry is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer you'll be expected to perform FAIRs and be experienced with the use of CAD models.
You
Working as a Quality Assurance Engineer you'll have experience in most of the following;
-FAIR's (first article inspection reports)
-Use of customer CAD models to produce Inspection and Measurement plans (Catia and AutoCAD)
-Experience of inspecting 2D components to a very high standard.
-Able to carry out final inspection and quality reports
-Program and operate inspection equipment
-Promote continuous improvement (5S)
-Part marking and Vibro-etching
-Maintaining inspection equipment and auditing procedures
