QA Engineer - Urgent Contract - DVB - Warsaw - Poland
My client is urgently looking for a QA Engineer to join its team ASAP and become involved in the testing phase of one of their current projects. The project will last at least 6 months and extensions are likely.
Given the sheer urgency of this role, my client is offering immediate starts and rates between 40-50 per hour depending on experience.
Desired Skills
- Strong knowledge of DVB and networking fundamentals. Knowledge of network principles and of TCP/UDP/IP technology required; previous experience testing video products is a plus.
- Minimum 4 years experience in testing Client Server products
- Tester-level proficiency in Linux and Windows
- Knowledge of test methods and tools
- Computer programming knowledge (at least one Scripting language like Perl, ruby, etc.).
- Capability to identify weak points and risks
- Fluent in spoken and written English
Responsibilities
- Analyse and review system requirements;.
- Prepare test plans
- Perform all system tests for security project
- Set up networked (IP) equipment for video content security tests in Windows and Linux.
- Test and evaluate the system using the specified test procedure and initiate corrective action if required
- Test all deliverables for professional work, including the product, installation of product, and user documentation for product
- Develop, configure and maintain test harness and/or test equipment used for tests and certifications
