Description

One of the worlds leading communication Solutions Company based in Galway a job has arisen for a Research Assistant. This a contract job for 2 to 3 years researching in the area of Networked Data.

The ideal person will have at least 3 years relevant experience in a similar role. Manage & document software application code, test & build process for software releases.

You should possess a BSc/MSc in Computer Science or similar, experience of development in user-oriented software applications (UI Design & Development), data visualisation, knowledge of RDF & Semantic Web Standards.

Fluent in one of C++, JavaScript, Python, C, Ruby, Java and Scala and experience with at least one other. Knowledge and experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQLite or any other.
