Job Description
Primary Skill Set, Qualifications & Job Description:
The client is currently implementing an Enterprise-wide Datawarehouse based on Teradata, and SAS EBI will be a predominant reporting platform against the EDW. The client requires a senior-level SAS 9.2 (or 9.3) EBI architect, able to lead the client in understanding, determining and implementing the proper SAS EBI architecture and usage, based on best practices. (This is an EBI architect position - not an EBI developer position.)
Candidate must possess the following skill sets:
Senior-level experience architecting the best usage of SAS 9.2 or 9.3 EBI.
Lead or assist with activities related to EBI project discovery, definition, design, development and implementation of the SAS EBI environment.
Work with the client to identify, evaluate, define and document SAS EBI requirements, providing guidance and technical expertise in the proper use of EBI components.
Provide knowledge transfer, mentoring and expert advice to the client on the efficient use and application of SAS EBI technology. (Have very good oral and written communication skills, while leading in SAS EBI knowledge-sharing/mentoring activities.)
Use SAS Management Console to administer SAS EBI metadata.
Design, implement and maintain (perhaps with the client SAS Administrator) the BI security framework (access rights and privileges, user roles/groups, LDAP, SSO, etc.);
Be proficient in Base SAS, SAS Macros and SAS Stored Process development and SAS EBI components.
