An exciting opportunity is currently available in Luxembourg for a French and English speaking IT Incident Manager. The client is located in the public sector through an IT services provider.

Tasks:
  • Incident Management: qualification, assignment and follow-up of tickets (incidents and requests)
  • Ticket resolution and escalation of critical incidents;
  • Impact analysis of critical incidents on operations;
  • Execution of operational procedures;
  • Change Management: Coordinate and follow up the implementation of changes;
  • Technical writing:
  • Elaborating incident reports and contributing to operational procedures;
  • Prepare communications to customers related to critical incidents and planned maintenance

Specific requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in Information Technology;
  • 1-3 years experience in a similar role;
  • Good working knowledge of ITIL processes (Service Desk, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management); ITIL certification is a strong asset;
  • Experience in using a Ticketing tool and Change Management tool;
  • Knowledge of Middleware layer (Oracle, Weblogic, ColdFusion) is a plus, but not mandatory;
  • You act as an outstanding team-player and can work independently;
  • You are flexible, dynamic and proactive;
  • You have an outstanding customer-oriented attitude, you are service-minded and result-driven;
  • You have excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills and a creative and problem-solving attitude.
Language requirements:
  • Very good English (oral/written)
  • Very good French (oral/written)
This position is offered as a 3 month rolling freelance contract with a duration of up to 3 years.
