Description
Progressive Global Energy has been tasked with sourcing a Mechanical Design Engineer for a large Oil and Gas service company in theHoustonarea. The position has the potential to develop into a leadership role so we are looking for someone who has substantial experience in a mechanical design/engineering capacity.The Mechanical Design Engineer will be working in the isolation valves and safety valves department either for the new product development or sustaining group.
Requirements:
*B.S. in mechanical engineering
*3 years experience
*Authorized to work in US
Responsibilities of the role include but are not exclusive to the following:
*Mechanical hand calculations, FEA and Risk Analysis procedures
*New product design
*Design modification
*Prepare layout and schematic drawings.
*Review and approve models, drawings, and P&ID's.
*Prepare technical reports presentations.
Salary range for this position is $88K- $98K plus a 20% bonus plan.
Location:Houston,TX
This position is a full time staff post. Contract/temporary/in direct hires will not be considered.
