Description
My client is looking for a global IT director for their IT infrastructure department, who will work very closely together with the CIO of the company. You will be responsible for performance and integrity of the entire IT infrastructure, as well as for the IT infrastructure strategy for the short and longer term.Tasks include:
- architecture of the global networking infrastructure
- mentoring and coaching of the various IT teams that will work under you
- Coordinating external outsourcing companies and vendors
- Improving and upholding network security
- Further virtualization of the IT infrastructure under your guidance
You have:
- A university degree
- Ability to liaise with personnel of all kinds of levels, backgrounds and capacities
- Natural leadership skills
- Experience managing teams of over 50 people, at least for 5 years
- Background as a systems / network engineer for a global organization
- Previous working experience in the finance sector, preferably in Banking and/ or Insurance.
