1 year plus contract possible right to hire position for a Sr. Help desk support specialist. Ideal candidate will have min. 2 year IT Degree and 2-4 years experience. Any certifications such as A+, MCP or Net+ are desired. Candidates must have experience troubleshooting, PC, workstations, telephones, and mobile devices. Provide technical support via telephone or email. Candidate will document, then escalate or resolve all IT service requests via the Call Tracking system - Remedy. Candidate Must provide superior customer service and meet/exceed proper expectation levels. Candidate will be responsible for diagnosing technical issues quickly and accurately while using experience and knowledge management resources to deliver IT solutions. Candidate should demonstrate the versatility to balance constantly changing demands while determining issue impact and severity. Strong communication skills in both verbal and written formats is required.

Candidate must possess a minimum of 2-4 years experience supporting Intel based workstations in Corporate environments and have in depth experience in more than one of the following technologies:

  • Remote control (eg SCCM, RDP)
  • Cisco VPN, wireless networking
  • Exchange email clients
  • Local candidates preferred. Must have excellent communications skills, be a team player and work in a large corporate environment.

Candidate must be able to pass 20 year criminal background check and standard drug screen
