Description
Federal Government Department seeking a skilled, senior level SAP Basis Systems Administrator to work on multiple projects within the department.
In this role you will provide SAP Basis technical expertise for SAP applications running on Netweaver (ABAP and JAVA stack) implementations, along with being able to work as part of a team environment and be focused on delivery excellence.
The duties for this role will include:- Installation and maintenance of the SAP environments for SAP PI 7.1, BI, GRC, Enterprise Portal, SRM and Solution Manager on Netweaver (ABAP and JAVA stack) implementations
- Investigation & resolution of SAP Basis and Technology related issues
- Proactive management of SAP system performance, performance monitoring, optimization & system sizing
- SAP landscape management, transport management, systems refreshes, data archiving and batch management
- Skills transfer and documentation
- Demonstrated SAP Basis administration experience, with different databases and Windows operating systems
- Demonstrated SAP administration experience supporting ECC6 HR and FI, Enterprise Portal and Solution Manager. Further experience in supporting PI 7.1, BI, GRC and SRM is highly desirable.
- Extensive experience as a SAP Basis Administrator.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team player whilst maintaining ability for autonomous accountability.
- Essential knowledge of SAP Basis & Performance Tuning
- Understanding the SAP system's architecture, options, pitfalls, standards and out of ordinary tasks
- Ability to work effectively in a multitask environment
- Ability to transfer skills and produce technical documentation
