Role : Implementation Manager - Retail Banking -- Marketing - Customer Data - £396/day

Purpose of the role

  • Our client, a major UK retail bank has an exciting opportunity to join a major transformational programme within Customer Products.
  • Your role will be to manage the execution of a number of projects, from initiation to delivery. You will ensure that business/Programme objectives are met, driving to resolution on their behalf any critical project issues. You will manage a complex and challenging stakeholder community and be responsible for everything from building relationships with these stakeholders and agreeing project milestones to controlling budgets and managing risks.
  • You'll need experience of managing Mainframe projects, working with third party suppliers and managing stakeholders.
  • Good experience of successfully delivering transformational projects to time and budget
  • Highly motivated, disciplined and able to resolve issues innovatively; comfortable and effective in a rapidly changing environment with challenging deadlines
  • Well developed management skills, including ability to escalate issues in a timely manner and delegate responsibilities where appropriate
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, at all levels and across different audiences
  • Ability to contribute to the development and maintenance of business plans, managing and monitoring performance objectives in driving through implementation of the plan
  • Ability to establish priorities and work independently, using own initiative to deliver challenging targets within a team environment
  • Focused, pragmatic and solution-orientated mindset with the ability to deliver in terms of both time and quality
  • Good financial management and benefits delivery experience.

Core Skills

  • CIP roles - You will have some Marketing Experience and have technical aptitude working with IT Change and be familiar with working with a large scale Datawarehouse.
  • Strong evidence of business requirements gathering and management and how these link to CSF's & KPI's and understanding of business outcomes and the customer journey
  • Ability to work with Technical, non-technical and senior stakeholders and to translate technical terms for use within the business.
  • Experience with BI toolsets (in particular SAS and Business) or similar.
  • Ability to demonstrate how data is used within the business and to create value
  • Experience of data projects and programmes - reference data, data remediation, data governance, data analytics, data usability
  • Focussed on business usage of data.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in CRM environment desirable but not essential.
  • Proven experience of managing large/fast paced projects
  • Prince Qualified or working towards/and or AMPM qualified or working towards.

The PM role based within the Data Transformation & Capability team. We are seeking an individual who whilst have a technical background also have the ability to translate this knowledge into meaningful information for the business.
