Outsource UK Ltd is actively seeking to recruit for a contract Commercial and Procurement Office on behalf of a client.
The Client: Is a large Defence organisation
The Job:
Working with a close knit team delivering commercial support to a complex research programme.
Your role will include -
Procurement systems input
Drafting and progressing contracts for Research which vary in degree of complexity
Developing procurement strategies cognisant of operating within the Public Procurement Regulations
Drafting appropriate tender documentation and running competitions principally using OJEU, Defence Contracts Online and other Departmental Framework Arrangements.
Maintaining stakeholder relationships and appropriate engagement throughout the procurement life cycle.
Skills Required:
You will have a current SC Clearance and will also have -
1. Evidence of having worked in a MoD Commercial role
2. Evidence of having worked in a Public Sector Commercial role
3. Evidence of preparing and conducting Tenders for Goods and Services using OJEU & DCO
4. Knowledge of relevant Public Procurement Regulations
5. In depth knowledge of various commercial evaluation models
6. Experience in drafting Statement of Requirements
You will also have proven delivery of high quality, best practise commercial solutions to agreed timescales. You will also have provided commercial advice and guidance to stakeholders in compliance with Public Procurement Regulations and the use of Government Frameworks.
OGC Certificate of Competence or MCIPS is preferred.
This is a a contract role with an immediate start, until the end of November. The role is commutable from Wiltshire, Salisbury, Basingstoke and Yeovil.
