Awesome opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst located in Norcross, GA:

Title: Sr Business Analyst.

We have direct hire opportunity with our global client in the medical industry for a Senior Business Analyst. We have worked with this organization for several years. As a Sr Business Analyst you will work within the Product Development Division of the organization for ongoing design and development of enterprise clinical systems. This is not for internal MIS systems. Medical experience is not required, but is desired.

The Business Analyst analyzes and synthesizes information provided by a large number of people who interact with the business, such as customers, staff, IT professionals, and executives. The business analyst is responsible for eliciting the actual needs of stakeholders, not simply their expressed desires. The business analyst will also work to ease communication between organizational units. Plays a central role in aligning the needs of business units with the capabilities delivered by information technology. The business analyst is part of the core product development team and participates throughout the software development life cycle.

Essential Functions

1. Develop software and business requirements (functional &technical) with customers,

stakeholders and industry experts for clients products and services.

2. Utilize clients and other industry standard requirements analysis methodologies (interviews,

requirements/user story workshops, etc.)

3. Understand the business case behind all requirements, the real business problem to be solved

and motivating factors for all stakeholders. 10___%

4. Drive process improvement in the business analysis and requirements management disciplines. 5____%

5. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of tools, processes, methodologies and standards

for full life cycle of requirements management

6. Conduct incremental reviews of recommended system functionality with stakeholders. 5____%

7. Manage the expectations of the project stakeholders. 5____%

8. Manage Change Control Board (CCB) process. 5____%

9. Ensure compliance with clients requirements management standards and guidelines. 5____%

10. Mentor junior members of the BA team. 5____%

11. Assist in customer and stakeholder management during software Alpha and Beta programs. 5____%

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

Bachelor of Science/Arts degree (or equivalent experience).

Healthcare software experience strong plus.

Experienced with standard SDLC

Requirement solicitation for B2B web based applications

Competence with MS Office products.

Responds strongly and positively to challenging work and deadlines.

Works as an integral part of the software development team.

Strong business analysis skills.

Experience withIndustry standards requirements management and change management tools.

Experience withWriting and managing user stories.

Experience withWorking with software development teams following agile and iterative processes.
