Description

MUREX has been chosen as one of the TOM Front Office platforms for FM and has been and continuing to be globally rolled out in the FX, FX Forward, Treasury and FX derivative areas.

The MUREX Programme concentrates on developing functionality for and migrating existing Front Office desks within my client Globally onto a single MUREX instance. The programme has been active and in the first waves implemented Murex as the global Front Office and MRM system for FX Derivatives.

The Integration Business Analyst is responsible for:

  • Developing requirements and performing associated Impact Analysis
  • Translating the requirements into a solution on the global MUREX platform by performing detailed Analysis & Design, Configuration and Testing/Migration tasks
  • Specifically in the are of Workflow (MXML), formulae and DataMart
  • Interfaces
  • Reconciliation/reporting
  • Perform gap analysis on existing functionality to facilitate transition from Legacy onto the MUREX platform
  • enforce the Change Management process

Skills

  • Have in-depth financial market product knowledge: FX & Treasury related products.
  • Experience in Front-to-Finance integration and migration solutions
  • Experience in a Project driven environment
  • Understand the Front-to-Finance life cycle of products though the various departments of the bank (Front Office, MRM, Back Office and Finance)
  • Able to analyse data from Legacy systems and translate this into a functional specification with the goal to migrate these trades
  • Perform a full Impact Analysis of set requirements
  • Translate my client's business requirements into a concise and future proof configuration (tasks include Analysis, Design, and Testing)
  • Be a sparring partner to the global functional lead
  • Experience in Change Management environment for FO applications
  • Experience in a Change Management environment of Murex
  • SQL (Sybase)
  • Unix
  • Shell Scripting
  • Broad knowledge of MUREX 3.1, especially the following modules
  • Murex Exchange (MXML)
  • Pre-Trade Formulae
  • Datamart, MRM Reports
  • Murex Limits Connector (MLC)
  • Minimum three years of active experience with Murex.

Preferred:

  • Broad knowledge of MUREX 3.1, especially the following modules
  • Murex pricing (curve configuration, P&L, Vol, etc.)
  • Request for Quotation (RFQ)
  • Market data setup (RTBS configuration)
  • Murex general configuration
