Immediate Need:
Short term: 2-3 weeks, estimated 20 hours per week.
Must work out of our Carlsbad, CA office and provide own computer equipment
SKLZ has an immediate need for a short-term freelance web designer.

Required Skill Set/Qualifications
Visual Design:
- A good understanding of current web design best practices
- Ability to efficiently update creative templates
- Strong in proper use of typography including styling, kerning and leading
- Intermediate-Strong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Knowledge of Flash a plus
Web Development
-Basic understanding of current HTML specifications
-Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
Overall
- Fast learner with a strong desire to learn
- Extremely organized
- Detail-oriented (ability to adhere to Style Guidelines to match our brand)
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Able to meet deadlines; ability to multi-task assignments
- Strong communication skills
Tasks will include
-Updating branded marketing materials on a daily basis which will include web banners, marketing & promotional emails and website promotional features.
-Provide web marketing team with design support including asset organization, photo editing/retouching, creating assets for website
