Software Team Leader - Tungsten PlatformOur client creates world leading technologies, products and services for the broadcast and broadband industries. Due to continued growth they are now looking for a Software Team Leader to join their Elements Software Group (Tungsten Platform). The successful candidate will lead a team of developers on projects; Have responsibility for estimation, planning, tracking and reporting; Provide leadership and guidance to coach,motivate and lead team members; Work with other Elements software development teams (middleware, UI and Head End) to ensure all software is developed on-time with the highest quality.
You will have leading a team of developers on projects from establishing requirements through to solution development and implementation, ensuring sound development practise are followed. Technically competent and able to quickly understand new technologies and solutions. Strong C or C++ experience on an Embedded Linux environment. Experience with STB Technologies DVS. MPEG, PVR/DVR, HD-TV, DVB. Experience of Build System,System Integration, STB Infrastructure, Software Testing and Management of Open Source Components.
