My Yorkshire based software client is seeking a Business Intelligence Architect to come on board for a new project which is launching mid March.The Business Intelligence (BI) Architect is responsible for building and implementing end to end BI solutions. The right individual will possess experience in all stages of BI project work. The BI Architect should have a firm grasp of BI implementation methodologies and will have had in-depth experience with enterprise BI tools, specifically the Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS and SSAS). In this role you will help design, develop or provide oversight to a development team, test, and drive adoption of software solutions for a diverse set of clients in industries such as Life Sciences, CPG, High Tech, Manufacturing and Energy.
To qualify for our BI Architect position, you should possess the following:
* Relational Database and SQL Language
* Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) (Microsoft SSIS)
* Data Warehouse / Solution Design
* Dimensional Modeling (Kimball Methodology)
* Analytics / OLAP Cube Development (Microsoft SSAS and MDX)
* Report Development (Microsoft SSRS)
* Data Mining
The contract is initially 4 months, and the rate is between £400 - £450 per day dependent on experience.
