Experienced Communications Manager Required - Contract - 6 months - Kilwinning
This post is the highest graded communications role within the Agency and so will be responsible for delivering and managing all aspects of the Agency's Communication function, including internal communications, press and media handling, digital communications and external communications encompassing stakeholder engagement. The role is supported by a web editor and a communications officer all of which are part of the wider Organisational Development and Communications Team.
Requirements:
Essential:
*Relevant experience working in a communication role.
*Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
*Experience of drafting press releases and answering media enquiries.
*Web strategy and design skills.
*Experience of evaluating effectiveness of communication activities.
Desirable:
*Experience at managing complex stakeholder environments and comfortable working with senior colleagues.
*Experience of facilitating workshops/groups to research information and gain stakeholder feedback.
*Experience of staff management.
Travel: May on occasion be required to travel to Glasgow and Edinburgh for meetings and training events.
All candidates are required to do a Baseline Personnel Security Standard check and therefore require a Basic Disclosure Scotland.
