Group Reporting Accountant - Treasury
Location: London
Contract Duration: 4 Months
Rate: Up to £300 per day
My client requires an ACA qualified Group Reporting Accountant (Treasury) with strong excel skills to do a 4 month contract based in London. The purpose of this role is to assist with the year end IFRS reporting of my clients treasury transactions and balances and record and analyse treasury transactions for monthly management reporting.
Key responsibilities:
*Assist with preparing the IFRS annual statutory accounts of the organisations financing company and IFRS financial instrument disclosures in the Group's annual report.
*Analyse the Group's net debt position, including foreign exchange, hedge accounting and related documentation.
*Perform hedge effectiveness testing.
*Accounting for treasury activities for monthly management reporting and commentaries.
*Work closely with the external auditors and provide information to meet their requirements with regard to financial instrument reporting at year end.
Essential
*ACA qualified
*Strong Microsoft Excel skills

*Exposure to accounting for derivatives and debt instruments
*Experience with a treasury management system
