IT Technical Support | 3 Month Contact | Coventry

A 1st-2nd level On-Site Technical Support Engineer position is available on a contract basis for an articulate, intelligent & technically minded On-site Technical Support individual working within a service desk environment for this professional services organisation.

Your role as 1st-2nd line technical support engineer is to proactively ensure that the service desk requests are answered and resolved with-in agreed internal service levels and KPI's.

Technical / Soft skills:

-Experience of supporting Microsoft desktop and network products (Office Windows operating systems and services.
-You will have at least 2 years' experience in a similar IT help desk-support role.
-Hardware fault finding and component replacement
-Re-patch network & Telecoms- Deploy PC's & Laptops correctly imaged
-Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments including Citrix networking with strong problem solving skills.
-A high level of individuality, Service and Support skills
-Excellent communication skills both written and orally.
