Senior Architect - BA, UML, RUP, SOA, Business Analysis
CONTEXT/INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVES
The Senior Architect will work in a dynamic team responsible for the analysis, development and maintenance of the information systems owned by the Secretariat General.
Intra-muros services are required.
DESCRIPTION OF TASKS
The services required relate to the analysis of business processes, the analysis of organisational structures, IS costs/benefits analysis, development and enhancement of architecture, assistance with the implementation of the architecture, data flow analysis in the SG.
More specifically, the consultant will work on the infringements management family of processes in view of their streamlining and harmonisation across the Commission.

Required expertise/skills
- Knowledge regarding enterprise architecture
- Strong capacity in writing and presenting studies
- Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, excellent communicator.
- Knowledge/Experience with Oracle BPA/Aris Designer
- Knowledge and experience regarding RUP
- Experience with business process analysis/modelling/optimisation
- Excellent communicator/facilitator
Specific expertise
- Business Process Analysis/Improvement methodology (eg Lean, Six Sigma)
- Very good knowledge of UML
- A Minimum of 9 years of expertise is required
Linguistic and interpersonal skills
The candidate should be fluent in English and French both orally and in writing. The candidate should be able to work both independently and within a team and to build up good relationships with end users and colleagues.
