Job Information:
The selected candidate will be a part of the engineering team that will perform network planning, conduct network performance audits and network performance improvement. You will perform these activities for companies 3G/4G products and solutions, primarily in multi-vendor networks. This includes advanced troubleshooting and consulting skills to enhance performance of WCDMA/LTE Radio Access Network, utilizing 3GPP specifications, protocol analyzers, performance counters and Key Performance Indicators.
Technical skills:
Able to provide Network Performance Improvement consultations based on investigations and analysis on various protocol logs, node configurations and internal call traces. Ability to evaluate customer requirements and provide solutions with support from other team members. Job duties may require extensive travel to customer locations. CORE/CRITICAL COMPETENCIES: Must have good understanding of WCDMA and LTE communication technologies, WCDMA Network End to End troubleshooting capabilities. Understanding of Telecommunications and Data Networking theory (Traffic Theory, OSI Model, etc) Broad familiarity across 3GPP L3, L2, L1 and the inter-working of network elements, Working Knowledge of 3G network architecture elements and protocols (TCP/IP, ATM, SS7, RANAP, RNSAP, RRC/RLC/MAC etc) Hands on and management of wireless development and implementation of WCDMA technology (LTE technology is a plus)
Requirements:
Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Good presentation, written and verbal communication skills, Knowledge of Perl, VB, C++, Shell Scripting, Unix, Proficient with Microsoft Office, Ability to work with others in a team environment and work towards a common goal, The position requires a strong desire to excel with network design/performance improvement, through detailed technical investigation and analysis, Customer focused and results oriented, experience in working Qualified candidates please
