Description
Currently we are hiring for Senior Java Engineer on a 6 month contract role based in Galway, Ireland for a financial services company. The ideal candidate should have excellent Java/Javascript skills.
Qualification required for this role
Strong J2EE and JSP skills highly desirable.
5 to 6 years of Oracle development experience - preferably 10/11g.
Excellent PL/SQL skills.
Development Methodologies - Agile a preference
Strong analysis, design and estimation skills.
Good customer facing skills - strong customer focus necessary for this role.
Customer Support skills - 3rd level customer support will be required.
Good interpersonal and team working skills.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Possess demonstrated customer orientation.
Highly motivated with willingness to take ownership/responsibility for their work.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic business environment.
Good problem solving skills.
Demonstrated ability and motivation to rapidly acquire additional technical skills.
Excellent documentation skills.
