Our client is looking for an Oracle Applications Technical Developer

We are looking for an Oracle Financials Technical specialist with a minimum of 5 years experience to join our Oracle support team. The team currently provides onsite & remote support to our customers, across a wide range of Oracle technologies.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

Working with a team of Functional, Technical and DBAs, you will be responsible for:

  • Working with our customers to provide consultancy skills around Oracle R11 and Oracle R12 eBusiness Suite
  • Working with our customer to provide technical solutions to their business problems
  • Maintaining and supporting our customers eBusiness suite applications and other Oracle Technologies either on-site or remotely
  • Ensuring the Fujitsu Service Management tool is continuously updated with progress, known issues and problem resolutions in accordance with ITIL standards
  • Providing technical documentation in accordance with the Fujitsu standards
  • Providing technical support to the other team members both DBAs and Functional
  • Continue to develop your technical skills so that we can provide up-to date advice and consultancy to our customers
  • At all times operate in a professional manner when dealing with external and internal customers
  • Continuously identify ways to improve how we provide services to our customers
  • Record track and manage all incidents and change requests raised by customers in accordance with ITIL standards
  • Provide weekly reports to you Service Delivery Manager or Project Manager
  • Be available to provide out of hours support where required

Competencies (Knowledge/Skills/Experience) - Mandatory:

  • Oracle Financials Technical Specialist with expert knowledge of Oracle Financial modules
  • PL/SQL programming,
  • Oracle Reports & XML Publisher
  • Oracle Workflow
  • Oracle Forms
  • Discoverer Reporting
  • OA Framework (very important)
  • Integrations, Oracle Fusion Middleware
  • Strong understanding of the Oracle Financials modules and business processes
  • Experience working with and understanding of client business requirements, interpretation and production of detailed specifications and documentation
  • Excellent communication skills in dealing with end users and senior level management
  • Experience of eBusiness Suite implementations.
  • Flexibility to work out of hours if required
  • Strong problem-solving, statistical and analytical skills
  • A minimum of 2 full life cycle ERP project implementations with large companies.
  • 3rd Level Degree or professional Qualification
  • Oracle technology certifications

Competencies (Knowledge/Skills/Experience) - Desirable:

  • Java/JSP
  • R12 Experience/Knowledge is desirable
