We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Graphic User Interface/GUI Designer to work from home!
€ per day depending on experience. Additional skills required are: SharePoint, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, ASLT, HTML and CSS
We are looking for a n experienced Graphic User Interface/GUI Designer for a HOME BASED role
You will be working for an International organisation with their head office in Stockholm, but working from the comfort of your own home!
This is initially a 2 month contract but could be extended
Duties will include:
- Implementation of a graphical user interface as specified and according to guidelines;
- Design of maximum four static wireframes, including minor changes if necessary
- Development of SharePoint Master Pages in compliance with the mock-ups as agreed
- Development of two SharePoint Layouts
- General branding for the documents (table) web part in DMS
- Cross browser compatibility, IE8 and IE9
- Debugging for the provided solutions
- Analyse test results for correcting mistakes, bug fixing, isolating areas for improvement
Education, Skills and Experience required:
- University degree with significant experience in user interfaces and graphical design UI/GUI
- Significant experience in designing, implementing and maintaining graphical user interfaces for web applications
(master pages, layouts, web parts) using JavaScript, AJAX, XML, XSLT, HTML/XHTML and CSS
- Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite for creating/editing images for the Web
- Proven experience working with cross browser compatibility
- Experience the GUI implementation on mobile devices is advantageous
- Excellent English; oral and written
Experience with the following is advantageous:
- Visual Studio
- Team Foundation Server
- MS SharePoint
This is a 2 month contract initially paying up to €350 per day.
Home based, however occasional trips to Stockholm could be required, so you need to have an EU passport
